L’âme: Apartment |
90 sq.m. / KYIV / 2025
This interior is a fusion of refined French classicism and expressive eclecticism, where every detail speaks of character, style, and boldness. The space feels deep and layered: a burgundy velvet sofa immediately captures attention, becoming the emotional focal point of the studio. Its насыщенный тон creates a dramatic contrast against the neutral wall palette and natural materials, adding depth and sensuality to the composition.
Classical elements — cornices, symmetry, and elegant silhouettes — are thoughtfully reinterpreted through a contemporary lens. The interior delicately weaves together textures of natural stone and minimalist porcelain stoneware, while American walnut veneer is paired with sculptural elements crafted from solid natural wood. This interplay creates a rich, multi-layered tactility that invites closer exploration and appreciation.
This space is not about restraint — it is about the dialogue of styles, forms, and textures. The luxury here is not ostentatious, but embodied in carefully curated accents, noble materials, and balanced compositions.
The atmosphere evokes a Parisian apartment — timeless and romantic — yet infused with a modern pulse and the distinct personality of its owners.

The clients were seeking an interior that would serve as a source of inspiration, as both of them work from home. It was important for them that the space not only fulfill a functional role, but also continuously nurture their creative state.
The woman designs jewelry — a delicate and highly creative craft — and she used to travel often to absorb new moods and capture a fresh vibe. Her vision became the starting point for this interior: eclectic, bold, filled with vibrant colors, yet at the same time cozy and comfortable for everyday living.
Kitchen
In designing the apartment, we used complex and intriguing material combinations that “interact” with one another and shape a distinctive atmosphere.
For example, on the kitchen island, matte porcelain stoneware that imitates natural stone is paired with a wooden countertop insert made from walnut burl. Both textures are highly distinctive, yet within a single volume they do not clash — on the contrary, they delicately complement one another.
On the floor, a warm honey-toned French herringbone meets achromatic small-format ceramic tiles with a playful pattern. A vibrant, ripe-raspberry-colored sofa becomes the focal point of the studio interior and is balanced by deep navy accents — in the rug beneath it and in the library area. In this space, masculine character seems to meet feminine charm, while the entire apartment breathes individuality, freedom of expression, and creative energy.

On selected walls and ceilings, we incorporated plaster décor. This added an extra layer of elegance to the interior while creating visual accents that subtly define different zones within the space. The walls are finished with a matte paint in calm, natural tones.

We deliberately avoided separating the walls from the ceiling: a single tone flows seamlessly from the walls onto the ceiling, creating a cohesive background effect and a sense of volume. The only exception is the master bedroom. Here, wooden veneer panels on the ceiling add a special sense of coziness, while textured wallpaper with a landscape motif on some of the walls creates a more intimate, private atmosphere.
